We are pleased to announce that PJD have been awarded a contract to support Metso in delivering a planned outage at EON's Steven’s Croft Biomass Plant in Lockerbie, Scotland.
The scope includes the replacement of left and right furnace wall panels to a height of approximately 3m, replacing a significant number of boiler nose tubes and also a number of front wall hanger tubes.
This work will require approximately 620 welds to be completed in a two week period, working alongside Metso to ensure that the plant is returned to service in line with agreed programme dates, or before if achievable.
This project continues the strong relationship that PJD have formed with Metso over the past few years.
